Who is The Professional Plug?
Armand Rivers, MBA
I am the Founder of The Professional Plug. As a teenager, I learned the importance of career development, including creating my first resume. I have had the pleasure of writing resumes and cover letters for others since I was 19 years old. In all, I love to help others with personal and professional development.
I grew up in South Euclid, Ohio where I was able to utilize my skills to navigate diverse environments. My experiences have helped me to understand what it takes to be successful in different industries.
I received my Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Baldwin Wallace University in May 2015. During my time at Baldwin Wallace, I developed professional relationships with faculty, staff, and board of trustee members. I worked three summer internships, EY and USI Insurance Services (formerly Wells Fargo Insurance Services), where I gained valuable experience working with finance professionals.
My background includes working for three Fortune 500 companies as an Auditor evaluating risk management and compliance for industry leaders.
My hobbies include traveling, sports, networking, investing/personal finance, reading, and grilling.
